Keane to Buy SignalTree Solutions

Keane Inc., a seller of software-consulting services to businesses and governments, said it will buy SignalTree Solutions Holding Inc. in Irvine for $62 million in an effort to lower costs by using programmers based in India.

Boston-based Keane will pay cash for all of SignalTree’s shares. Privately held SignalTree has a software development division in India, where more than half of its 750 employees are based.
