Open House Set on Sewage-Recycling Plan

An open house tonight will give residents a chance to learn more about the Orange County Water District’s $600-million ground water replenishment project, which will turn sewage into drinking water.
District staff will give details of the purification technology and about district construction, including adding a traffic light on Ward Street at the south entrance of the district headquarters.
The open house, which will include exhibits, is from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. at the headquarters, 10500 Ellis Ave.
