Teen Accused of Threats on Temecula Student, Ex-Teachers

A 14-year-old student at a private school in Temecula has been arrested on suspicion of making terrorist threats against a classmate, former teachers and a number of public figures.
Riverside County sheriff’s deputies searched the boy’s home in Canyon Lake after a classmate at Linfield Christian School reported to authorities that the boy had said he “hated the school and would not leave without killing some people” and that he owned firearms to be used in an assault, sheriff’s officials said.
Deputies who searched the home found only two toy guns that shoot plastic projectiles. They also say they found what they described as a list of intended victims, including Gov. Gray Davis, Lt. Gov. Cruz Bustamante, former gubernatorial candidate Arianna Huffington and filmmaker Roman Polanski.
Deputies arrested the boy, whom they did not name, and booked him into Riverside County juvenile hall.
