Huntington Park Apartment Fire Injures Two Children

An infant and a 5-year-old were pulled from a burning apartment building in Huntington Park on Tuesday night and were in serious condition, authorities said.
“Apparently, two adults jumped out of the window; one of the adults had a child in her hand,” Fire Capt. Mike Brown said.
The fire began in the 7800 block of State Street about 9:30 p.m. and was knocked down in about 20 minutes, a Los Angeles County Fire Department official said.
The two children and a third victim were taken to St. Francis Medical Center in Lynwood, authorities said.
The fire started in one unit and spread to three others, authorities said.
