Seven Injured as Driver Apparently Runs Light

Seven people were injured in a crash apparently caused by a driver who ran a red light early Sunday, police said.
The collision at Washington Boulevard and Fair Oaks Avenue occurred about 1:50 a.m.
Police said the driver of a Chevrolet Impala heading west on Washington Boulevard apparently ran a red light and collided with a Cadillac traveling on Fair Oaks Avenue.
The driver and a passenger in the Chevrolet were injured, as were five members of a family in the other vehicle, police said.
None of the injuries was said to be life-threatening. No arrests were made in the accident, and an investigation was continuing.
