Stonyfield recalls yogurt product

Stonyfield Farm Inc. voluntarily recalled its 6-ounce cups of organic fat-free blueberry yogurt Sunday because of a possibility that they could contain glass or plastic fragments.
The product is being removed from grocery store shelves nationwide, the Londonderry, N.H.-based company said on its website.
Customers complained of finding pieces of plastic or glass in the batch of yogurt with the following dates stamped on the bottom: April 13, April 14, April 15, April 25 and April 26, the company said. There have been no injuries reported.
“While we continue to investigate these complaints and believe that the risk of injury is extremely remote, we feel that this voluntary measure is the prudent and responsible step at this time,” Chief Executive Gary Hirshberg said in a statement.
