Team from Men’s Central Jail wins Plane Pull in Long Beach

The Plane Pull fundraiser at Long Beach Airport drew more than 1,000 participants Saturday to raise money for Special Olympics Southern California. The challenge was to pull a 164,000-pound plane 12 feet. Each team had two cracks at the Boeing 757, and when the dust settled, the team from Men’s Central Jail had the best time: 5.124 seconds.
