3.2 earthquake felt over a wide area of L.A.

A magnitude 3.2 earthquake that was recorded Friday night near Marina del Rey was modest, but was felt over a wide area.
According to the U.S. Geological Survey, people reported feeling the shaking as far as downtown L.A., Carson, Long Beach, Silver Lake, Pasadena and La Cañada Flintridge.
Most of the reports from the USGS’s “Did You Feel It?” survey were from the Westside and South Bay.
There were no immediate reports of damage.
The shallow magnitude 3.2 earthquake occurred at 7:52 p.m. Pacific time at a depth of 7.5 miles.
According to the USGS, the epicenter was 2 miles from El Segundo and 3 miles from Inglewood.
In the last 10 days, there have been no earthquakes magnitude 3.0 and greater centered nearby.
