Reader Photo: Proper etiquette
With the Fourth of July weekend coming up, and residual excitement about the U.S. men’s national soccer team after their World Cup loss to Belgium on Tuesday, it seems like there have been many, many people walking around in the American flag, or clothing made up of the “stars and stripes.”
This is actually considered disrespectful to the American flag, but it doesn’t keep people from being caught up in the excitement and trying to show their patriotism. Mark Rosales catches an example of that in this image of a man wearing the American flag as a cape in a metro station.
Have a happy Fourth!
