Football: La Habra gets to take on Mission Viejo
- Share via
Every season, La Habra Coach Frank Mazzotta makes sure he schedules a Pac-5 powerhouse to see what his team can do.
The Highlanders have been competitive, such as 2011, when they were beaten by Servite and Orange Lutheran in close defeats.
On Friday night, La Habra (3-0) takes on Mission Viejo (3-0) at Cerritos College.
It will be a big test for sophomore quarterback Eric Barriere, who has done a terrific job in the opening month of managing La Habra’s offense and being a major contributor.
Mission Viejo’s defense is hard hitting and doesn’t give up a lot of big plays. Grinding it out and not making mistakes is the key to toppling the Diablos.
