Tickets go on sale Tuesday (today) for the Mountain Collective ski pass that this season adds Canadian resorts Lake Louise, Sunshine Village and Mt. Norquay to its roster of six ski destinations in the U.S. and Canada. In California, the pass covers Mammoth Mountain, Squaw Valley and Alpine Meadows.
The 2014-15 pass costs $389 for adults and $99 for children 12 and younger. It includes two free days at each ski area, 50% off lift tickets for additional days, and other perks such as discounted lodgings at some of the ski resorts.
The added resorts in the Canadian Rockies are in Banff National Park, about 90 minutes from Calgary, Alberta. \
Other participating resorts include Alta/Snowbird in Utah, Aspen Snowmass in Colorado, Jackson Hole in Wyoming and Whistler Blackcomb in British Columbia, Canada.
Those who purchase the pass also receive a one-year membership in Protect Our Winters, an organization dedicated to galvanizing skiers and boarders in the fight against climate change.
